A whirl of teal and coral skirts caught mid-turn at the Niyogyugan Festival in Quezon Province, where dancers honor niyog — the coconut — with fronds and fruit balanced above their heads like crowns. Painted with loose, gestural strokes to hold onto the movement and color of the moment rather than freeze it: the crowd dissolving into the background, the dancers' skirts still mid-spin, the banana leaves caught bending in unseen wind.
